Roman Nose Riding Stables, known as the
"cliff-side stables" is located on SH-8 and SH-8A, seven miles north of Watonga, 81 miles northwest of Oklahoma City, near Lakes Watonga and Boecher.
Roman Nose Riding Stables was once a winter campground of the Cheyenne tribe, the 650 acres now is a scenic retreat set on a canyon bluff that over-looks ancient mesas. Towering cedar, buffalo grass and wild blue sage add to the beauty of this legendary setting, and to the enjoyment of numerous recreational activities.

operation for Roman Nose Riding Stables are
9:00 - 5:30 Tuesday through
Sunday.
Price is $19 tax included per person for a 1 hour ride. Reservations required.
U-lead Pony Rides $7.50+tax for 15 minutes
Equestrian Trail Fee
(Ride your own
horse)
$10/day/horse (proof of negative coggins required)
